UK GMC 7341384 · Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery since January 2019

I am an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the University Hospital of Modena. My practice includes Aesthetic Surgery, Reconstructive Microsurgery and Lymphedema Surgery.

After completing my specialist training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, I continued my international training across Europe and Asia. I completed the prestigious Clinical and Research Microsurgery Fellowship at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou, Taiwan, where I gained extensive clinical and research experience in reconstructive microsurgery and lymphedema surgery. I also completed the Master of Science in Reconstructive Microsurgery at Chang Gung University. I was the first Italian plastic surgeon to complete this training pathway in full, further developing my expertise in reconstructive microsurgery and lymphedema surgery in Taiwan.

My training then continued in the United Kingdom with fellowships at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and the St Andrews Plastic Surgery Department at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, with a particular focus on breast reconstruction and microsurgery. In parallel, I further developed my experience in Aesthetic Surgery in the United Kingdom through training in London, Birmingham and Glasgow alongside plastic surgeons with particular expertise in aesthetic surgery.

In Aesthetic Surgery, my approach begins with listening carefully to each patient, understanding their expectations and providing a realistic assessment of what surgery can achieve. My aim is to achieve results that are balanced, natural and in harmony with each person’s anatomy and individual features.

“Technical precision, natural results and respect for each patient’s individuality are the principles that guide my work.”
